In Revelation Jesus/Yeshua is called the "Lion of Judah". Throughout the New Testament those that believe in Jesus/Yehsua are called the "Bride of Messiah". In this painting the Lion of Judah and His Bride (the Lioness) are cuddling, representing a beautiful loving relationship that those of the Bride of Messiah  can have with their Savior. The title of this painting "I Am My Beloved's & My Beloved is Mine" is a quote from the Song of Solomon. This quote is usually used with married couples, but I feel is can also be used to describe the marriage relationship we can have with Jesus/Yeshua.

This Painting will be on Exhibit at Ella Sharp Museum June 13th - August 23rd 2025
